This is an extremely small book that is mostly filled with the research of academics. While this information is good, there are only a few pages of info on how to handle narcissist. I was bewildered when I finished it how it could be advertised as a "how to deal" book. I honestly felt I was ripped off and disappointed I had wasted money on this book. I am still searching for a good book on how to deal with this personality but this gave me almost nothing.

I have been following Mark Ferguson for a while now. Reading his information on Investfourmore, Getting his emails, Learning about how to run a business in Rentals is great. I have a couple properties, but I am still in the Brand New Phase, so looking at this book and all it has to offer is wonderful.

If you have questions about starting, working in the Rental Field, working as a Real Estate Agent and all the things in between you should pick up a copy for yourself. Working at a regular job is great, but having something that you are building yourself is even better.

I am retiring from the Military soon, and having another career to start is wonderful and one of those careers is running a Rental Business. I am learning more so I can do well for my family and then being able to pass this on to others is very Rewarding. Enjoy!

Really informative read!

From start to end, this book is really informative and helps you to fully understand the mind set of the toxic people in your life. Unlike most of the advice given when you are in a relationships with someone who shows traits of narcissism or other psychological traits, this book teaches you how to work with your loved one to improve your situation by giving them what they need, whilst holding your own. It does also explain the point at which to leave your partner should things get too bad, but it's mostly a book to teach people how to cope with people with such personalities and traits, to better your relationship and your quality of life.

He isn't prepared for the attraction he instantly has to Devon Brandeburg, his sister's best friend and Realtor. He remembers her as a "noodle-armed youngster with braces" but boy has she grown up.
 
Devon Brandeburg remembers well the day her best friends big tough "testosterone-stuffed" brother came swaggering in, bragging he'd just graduated BUD/s and went on to get his gold Trident. She sees the same braggadocios attitude that repulsed her then now that he has come to help his sister settle her affairs. But she is surprised when one of the requirements for liquidating the nursery is a deathbed request. She finds she has to work closely with a man who is dangerous, especially since Devon's barely been kissed.
 
What starts out as an obligation soon turns to a heated affair that pushes both their boundaries. As Devon's body awakens to this man's touch, Nick's need for a life other than casual sex and perpetual bachelorhood evaporates. When a plot is uncovered that a greedy winery owner plans to do anything to possess the property, everyone involved is put at risk. Nick and his SEAL Team 3 buddies are tasked with saving the day.

So conflicted and a little bit angry

I am so conflicted about this story. It had some really good points to it, but some of it was just mind boggling. I have been reading this series and for the most part, I like the author's work. I shied away from this story because the premise just seemed strange. Why would a terminally ill woman leave a nursery to her brother and best friend who do not get along and then make them date? But, for the sake of the story, lets go with it. I did not like the heroine, Devon Brandeburg. She is so uptight, rude, and really needs anger management. Not only is she rude to Nick, but she treats his SEAL team buddies abominably. I still don't get what the scene was with her getting mad at all of them was about. It wasn't like they were mocking her and what is it with the reaction to being called ma'am? Very extreme! What was so strange to me was that Nick was made out to be a manwhore and she is a virgin, but when it comes down to it, he is the one with the feelings and she...
love me a SEAL

I think this tops any of the other in the series. It was intense and a few times threw me for a loop. I love reading books that keep my mind challenged and this is one of them. I cried for Sophie, so unfair what happened to her. I laughed at the SEALs antics, loved the way the brotherhood is portrayed. I was angry at Nick for doing some of the things he did... and there is Devon, a great friend to Sophie, spitfire is an apt description for her. I love a ending with HEA. Thank you Ms. Hamilton for another awesome read.

Memorable story

I really liked this story, I put me through a gamut of emotions. I liked that the h/h and were very real and likeable, especially Nick. Devon is the best friend of Nick's sister Sophie. Sophie is terminally ill so Nick and Devon come together to help her sell her property. As they work together, they begin to develop feelings for each other. Meanwhile, threats are made to Sophie, although I thought the suspense was quite predictable and even mildly drawn out. The climax was short and wrapped up neatly, so much so that I really wanted/expected more. There is also a secondary romance that was really sweet. Sharon Hamilton did a wonderful job writing about Sophie's cancer; it was quite emotional and because of these heavy emotions, I doubt I would re-read SEAL the Deal, despite my high review. This is definitely memorable and be prepared to become emotionally invested in the characters.

The best book about the incarnational church is "Monday Morning Church."
It is no surprise that Pastor Jerry would write a book about the Holy Spirit that would be equally as powerful.
Jerry lays down a strong theological argument about the Holy Spirit throughout the whole Bible. The theology is dead on orthodox while still challenging the status quo of our dying American Church.
Couldn't recommend higher.

This book is a keeper especially if you're an a**hole magnet like I am. It shows how to deal with these kinds of jerks so when they see you they just know better that you're no amateur to be messing with. I've used a few of the tactics in this book and they do work. Wish this book would of been available years ago. I failed to mention here too if you have a bad boss you'll be able to tame him/her down too so that you will see way more less of them. And believe me I have had more bad supervisors than good ones. Some people don't handle power well and more times than not it goes right to their head and have no business being in that kind of position.

First off, let me say that the cover is great! Let's be honest.....at some point, you have (at the very least) thought that sentence when someone was being an absolute jerk to you. I'm not saying I'm a saint, but I have the tendency to be too nice. People take advantage of me and push me around a lot because they think I won't say anything....which is completely true. I was snickering quietly while reading this book because I have encountered several of these types of difficult people in the past and even at present. I just ignored them. Now, after reading this, I know better. The “Anti-Difficult People” toolkit contains very practical and sensible tools, indeed. This book works two ways: It helps us distinguish and deal with difficult people. It also helps us look within ourselves if we are one of those mentioned here.

Useful book, excellent suggestions

What I liked about this book from the very beginning is that the author does not write with a condescending attitude, he points out that annoying people with personality disorders are often smart but insecure people. The book itself is well structured and the content is arranged in an obvious logical order. This book comes with a toolkit, it describes many thinkable situations with difficult people and how to deal with them in a creative and enabling manner. I learned alot from this book, actually more than I thought I would because it’s got it all - identifying different types, how to deal or avoid them, learning lessons,- you name it. This book is an excellent addition to my little personal library!

Incomplete

This is a good introduction to an important topic but it does not go beyond that. Was hoping and expecting a lot more--such as how to deal with difficult people.

I got this kindle version free from the author in hopes of a review and my, do I feel like the lucky one! This is a great read! I really appreciate the explanations and descriptions. The fast paced action and the many twists and turns. I found myself wondering several times if this was based on a true story, it's believable to me. I very much hope to have the pleasure of reading book #2.

I am a big fan of thrillers, as this is one kind of fiction that can keep me engaged, mostly when they are well written. As well, I have noticed that I particularly the first person narrations - as I believe this adds the emotional layer to the overall story. In this context, "The Apocalypse Deal" met all my expectations - using a balanced approach when it comes to thrilling adventures and mystery, the author manages to build a great and captivating storyline. A kidnapping, a continuous strive to escape any tracking and a little bit of romance for the main characters, plus all the captivating adventures they go through, everything contributes to a really captivating novel. A truly engaging reading.

Wow!!

Ms. Sandi Lynn blew me out of the water with this book. I started at 9 am in the morning & finished by 12 noon, I could not put this book down. Emma & max meet in a night club in Miami they are both leaving on a flight the next day, so max (who is hot as sin ) basically ask Emma if she wants to go to bed with him & being the good girl she is she says nope & walks away. Everything changes for both of them the next morning on the flight from Miami to New York. This book was so good, you pretty much can't help falling in love with max. I am a BIG fan of Sandi Lynn's books that I believe this just became my favorite book & if you have read the Conner black series your probably thinking I'm crazy but, don't get me wrong Conner will always be my first book boyfriend, max just may have passed him. Overall great, funny happy feeling book :-)

I love these types of books and when I need to escape I purchase one, although I never review them. I purchased this one purely because it was one that was recommended based on what I was buying previously. I never heard of the author and the summary grabbed my attention.

I really felt the need to review this one because I honestly didn't want it to end (Im not kidding). As soon I finished I quickly googled this author to see if there was a second book. I NEED A SEQUEL TO THIS PRONTO!!!!! I could not put it down (to the point where I actually propped it up on my counter and read it while washing some dishes.

This is a great read. I highly recommend it!

Another must read from this author.

Firstly wow, Sandi Lynn has done it again. His Proposed Deal is another amazing book by this author. I read it in one sitting, once I started I couldn't stop. I finished two days ago and I am still thinking about it, so much so I haven't read anything else yet.

I fell in love with Max and Emma's story. Both characters are strong willed and stubborn, a lot of times through the book those qualities had me laughing hard. This book had everything I wanted and more. Hot sex, emotion, laughter and an amazing story.

I didn't expect to cry but I did. Sandi always manages to pull emotion out of me in her writing.

His proposal starts off as a three month deal, they both didn't expect love, friendship and the bumpy road ahead.

Zippy Dialogue & Fun Characters!

Shey Stahl's books are always an autobuy for me, so when Deal went live I immediately had it sent to my Kindle. Then I saw it was a novella and for the first time with one of her books I became nervous because I am NOT a novella fan -- even with authors I love because usually the stories are too short and aren't fully realized. That is certainly not a problem with Deal!!
Stahl's characters are their usual quirky and hilarious selves and I thoroughly enjoyed watching Amalie struggle against her attraction for Tathan. Sometimes Amalie was a bit too witchy for my liking but Stahl never let that character leave too bad a taste in my mouth. I absolutely adored Tathan and really liked Zane, one of Amalie's best friends. At times, the dialogue was laugh out loud funny and I was afraid I would awaken the sleeping household! Stahl's dialogue is always tight and zippy and Deal's is no exception.
I recommend picking this one up as a happy holidays or New Year's gift for yourself!!

Shey can do no wrong in my eyes when it comes to her writing! I absolutely fell in love with this story and the characters. Amaie and Tathan back and forth banter is absolutely hilarious and in a way it left me rooting for them to get together. I enjoyed this story, it was very realistic, meeting in the work setting, not being the insta love but building up to that level. Until a deal is made and she is basically forced to go out with him for her best friend!
I honestly read this book in one setting and when it ended I of course wanted more. I cant not wait to see what Shey comes out with next. I would definitely recommend this story to anyone!!

The idea of mates was belittled a lot.
I’m a giant fan of the 'Purgatory' series by Cynthia Eden, in fact, it’s probably my favorite series of hers. ‘Deal With The Devil’ is the fourth book in the series but each can be read as a standalone. Overall I’ve enjoyed them all. The first, ‘The Wolf Within’, was an okay read and opened up the series (this book is free), the two that followed, ‘Marked by the Vampire’ and ‘Charming the Beast’, stole my heart. I loved every part of them. As per this one, I’m not sure where I stand, I didn’t dislike it but I also didn’t love it.

Eric Pate is the director of the PARA unit, he makes all the rules and everyone follows his orders. He doesn’t let anyone too close because he hides who he really is: something that isn’t so human after all. Then Ella Lancaster crashes into his world and Eric’s legendary control starts to crack.

'Deal with the Devil’ opens up with...
Lots of Action and Scorching Hot Scenes
One of my Dirty Girls is a huge Cynthia Eden fan so when an ARC came up, I decided to give it a try. I was a bit worried about not having read the first three books in the Purgatory Series, but I caught on just fine.

I loved Ella and as her story unfolded it just tugged at my heart strings. I am a huge fan of strong heroines and alpha heroes. Ella definitely fit in the tough as nails category but I wish we had gotten to see more of her kicking rearend and taking names and less of Ella getting beaten up, grabbed, kidnapped etc etc.

Eric on the other hand didn't even make it to my like category for a good part of the story. His cause was definitely worthy, but his win at all costs attitude was kind of off-putting. He eventually grew on me and I ended up liking him overall but he's not going to make my favorite book boyfriend list.

There was plenty of action and some scorching hot scenes that made this book worthy of my time. I still really liked the...

This is the best analysis on the book so far. The key points of closing a sale is well defined. Donald Trump himself writes straight forwardly what he knows and how he wants to communicate that. The writer has done a great job by being highly thoughtful when summarizing. This summary could almost have been written by him except that the bombast he loves has been left out. It is very easy to read and practical book.
