This was an engaging, interesting, thought-provoking and inspiring book. It was also an easy read that I couldn't put down and I'm usually NOT a non-fiction reader. If anybody is interested in the rise of a woman from Secretary to CEO, how she achieved that success and valuable insight for professional women I highly recommend this book. Of course, now that Ms. Florida is a candidate for the highest political office in the world it provides deep insight into her ideology and a framework for her plan to unlock human potential that has been lost in America. I was inspired by the amount of charity work she funds and leads for women around the world and her insight, again, in unlocking human potential globally. As a business woman and manager in corporate America I was fascinated with her style and took a lot of notes on leadership.

Great book! Highly recommend it.

I like her vigor and what she has displayed in business ...

I was hesitant at first prior to reading this book. As a somewhat macho guy I will admit I was thinking , chick flick in American Business. I will tell you as an upper level business manager that I would be very proud to have ever worked for her. She is inspiring to the point where with the amount of adversity she has gone through, knowing what I know now, I would run through a brick wall to complete any project she would send my way if I were her subordinate.

Unlike the above poster, I am into politics moderately. I like her vigor and what she has displayed in business needs to be duplicated in politics.

Highly recommend males read this.

amazing leadership lessons for 2016

"rising to the challenge" is a very amazing book and it offers hope to anyone who reads it. I was very inspired by carly fiorinas life she has faced tough odds in her life losing a daughter and facing breast cancer and yet she is not bitter she offers hope in this book and shares her incridable journey of faith that helped her get through these hard situations in her life. she also shares her leadership and vast managment skills that she has been so successful with over the years and shows how she can offer something special as president for the voters. great gift idea for a friend or family member also recamended tough choices by carly fiorina and 13 hours in benghazi
